Stone Pine (Pinus pinea)/

Stone pine tree also called Roman Pine has been an icon of the typical Italian scenery.
Its gigantic mushroom remind the travelers of the ancient roman history.
I tend to collect the garden plant as a memory in Europe. Now, I added a tiny Stone Pine in my garden. Since I guessed that it may not survive in winter, I decided to grow it in a pot.
It seems not grow as the japanese pine, which extends two or three new shoots on the top of the branches. It is such a beautiful young tree with bluish green needles. It would be very interesting how it will be.
